Description
Experience the First World War as it was rarely seen — in three dimensions.
The First World War in 3D presents a remarkable collection of original stereoscopic photographs from the 1914–18 conflict. Viewed through the included 3D glasses, these historic images reveal an extraordinary sense of depth, bringing the people, landscapes and events of the war vividly to life.
The book combines my interest in stereoscopic photography with historical imagery, exploring how photographs made more than a century ago can still provide a strikingly immersive way of encountering the past.
